Riversdale House dates from the 1860’s and was probably designed by M C
Horne of London. It is in the French Renaissance style with a steep
pavilion roof which would have originally been crowned with ironwork
railings. It is built in buff and red brick that the Victorians used to
add interest and colour to their buildings. |
