Berkeley Hotel

Originally called the Belgravia and designed by W M Robbins, the Berkeley
is very French Gothic. The hotel was purpose built to provide palatial
accommodation with every amenity for the Ilfracombe visitor. Built in the
1880’s the central tower rises through three stories and the hotel’s
most interesting features are the clusters of dormer windows over the
octagonal turrets. |
