The Art Appreciation Group meets once a month at the local Arts centre at the Lantern in Ilfracombe.A nucleus of regular members are often joined by 'occasionals' who meet to consider a broad range of art topics. Although primarily led by the convenor other members also contribute topics that stem from a particular interest. Through the use of slides and reproductions, as well as much discussion, subjects rangingfrom Picasso to the Surrealists and portraits to landscapes have been covered.
